About the Foundation

Created by father David Rucker and son Ian Rucker, this foundation represents a dream and desire to give music and art back to the community of Oshkosh, WI. The extended Rucker Family was very artistic, and was instrumental in inspiring and funding Ian's musical talents and escapades. It was that support that became so important to Ian's ability to continue to take lessons and immerse himself in music in school.

 

The colorful artistic community in Oshkosh holds many expressive outlets and opportunity for students, and it is important to make sure that it is available to all. The foundation aims to pay it forward to families with artistically gifted children - who may be struggling to make ends meet - and support them through funding their children's ambitions in the arts.
